Division two captain that served in that capacity occasionally in division one games. Recognized and honored in 2007 for unwavering commitment and dedication to Royals Basketball Club.

Has been a member of Royals for one year. Backup point guard with good ball handling skills that likes to attack the basket. A nagging hustle defender that needs to work on a jump shot.

Has cemented his position at point guard and earned his respect with his toughness and floor generalship. Very good ball handler and decision maker complimented by his nagging defence. Add his ability to connect from downtown and you a point guard to worry over. Was actually selected to a senior national squad for tour to St. Lucia that was subsequently cancelled.

At 18 years of age has grown with Royals and not surprisingly has developed into the type of player that every club dreams of having. Burst onto the local scene in 2nd division competition currently in progress with a number of 30+ points games. Tough player that plays both ends of floor and is yet to play at his full potential. His continued presence ensures a bright future for Royals. Recently selected to represent Linden in Beepat Scorpions/Supligen junior all stars game as well as 3 point shootout and has his eyes set on Junior Caribbean Championships in the Bahamas in 2008. The sky is his limit.

Newcomer which has a defensive mindset with decent ball handling ability. Needs to develop offensive game. Played for New Silver City secondary school in the Victory Valley Royals schools basketball championships.

Began his career with Royals 10 years ago with a 2 year stint in between for Ravens in Georgetown when work commitment forced his relocation. Probably the most talented big man around and certainly one of the most skilled. A high energy and very intense player on both ends of the floor that has worked for and against him. A temperamental and volatile player in his earlier playing days which led to negative publicity against him much of which he was just the victim of administrative blunder and corruption at all levels. When on the court however there is no denying his value as a player. Possess unusual ball handling skills to compliment his speed and athletic ability. Vocal leader that brings versatility to the paint. One of a handful of players that plays well with his back to the basket as well as facing it. Very good rebounder and shot blocker. An intelligent player with sound basketball IQ. Had unique distinction of being selected to represent Guyana at Olympic youth camp at 2000 Olympics in Sydney Australia, MVP of Supligen All star 2004, MVP of LABA division one competition won by Royals in best of three finals. His return to Royals has certainly made them a top contender once again with the talent to go all the way.

A strong rebounder that provides muscle with his low post presence. Needs to be more assertive as his position demands to enhance his obvious potential. Recently selected to Linden senior squad. His best years are still to come.

Started career with Royals 5 years ago and has made remarkable strides since. Undoubtedly one of the most talented players in Guyana. Has no real weakness. Being a member of the Guyana Defense Force brings him to the court in excellent physical shape. Plays both ends of the court with quiet and deceptive confidence, toughness and quickness that does not characterize his personality which is often quiet and humble. Provides unique fluidity and chemistry when in tander with Chris Williams. Was recently named captain of Linden’s Junior All star team in Beepat Scorpions/ Supligen all star weekend and his performance and was a cut above his other teammates. Had Linden won a close game he definitely would have been the M.V.P. The sky is his limit.

Another player who made his mark in Victory Valley Royals schools basketball championships when he took home MVP honors in 2006 finals and leading Mackenzie High School to it’s first title. Was selected to represent Linden juniors in Beepat Scorpions/ Supligen all star game and to Junior national team for Inter Guiana games but subsequently migrated to the USA before the games commenced.

A deceptive ball handler with a decent mid range jump shot. Another player who is yet to reach his full potential due to his inability to train consistently.

During his prime was one the most lethal long range snipers that brought his own brand of quiet excitement to the game. His versatility saw him playing the 1, 2 and 3 position with great effect. His commitment to the game has decreased overtime but still remains a key part of club with his experience. Member of national Junior Caricom team to Jamaica in 1996, captain of Inter Guiana Games team to French Guiana in 1997.

A nagging knee injury coupled with work commitment in the Caribbean has limited his appearance recently. Represented Linden on numerous occasions and was selected to National squad once. Recognized and honored in 2007 for unwavering commitment and dedication to Royals Basketball Club.

Started coaching in 1999 and enjoyed success at every level of basketball in Linden. Prior to coaching played briefly and was instrumental in Royals winning Prime Minister sponsored under-17 basketball tournament in 1997 with a double-double contribution. Continues to grow and gain experience as a coach.
